Merely advising against using the Intel 2200bg and 2915abg due to driver issues unresolved by Intel. The hardware seems capable. I was always able to connect with the card, but always had to 'play' with it to maintain an adequate connection. There are driver issues with the card -- and I'm glad you don't see them

Tried downloading and installing the Intel 2915abg drivers from Lenovo, but no change, and no sign of the Intel PRO/Wireless Manager.
